A venture into eLearning technology
Globalization in a non-universal learning environment
The world has never been interconnected and interdependent as it is today. Globalization is radically changing the world economy which is becoming increasingly competitive and more knowledge-based. This requires a global education with interconnected methods of teaching from worldwide systems to encourage the international development of environmental sustainability, as well as a contribution toward fortifying global industries. A global education that prioritizes global access to school from the primary to university levels, instigating learning experiences that prepare students for multinational leadership roles.
A fallback of globalization in education is the learning gaps that are created between advanced countries and less developed countries. The increased technological gaps and digital divide between these countries is a big challenge for international students planning to study abroad.

The problem of education
Nowadays, schooling does not always lead to learning. Worldwide, they are more and more students in schools that are not learning. This learning crisis constitutes a barrier to a universalization of learning. The situation makes it challenging for students to globally transfer from one educational institution to another one. |
Reflection: (EduBreath is at its early stage, therefore, it's a work in progress)
The creation of this venture into learning technology was a very dynamic experience. The ideation of this venture has changed a lot from the initial thoughts to the final product presented here. I have eliminated many strategies and conceptual approaches because though they were good, they were not effective in attracting investors. I must admit that this venture is still at its very early stage and will need some tweaks to be competitive on the market. However, its value is very strong, that of enabling young people around the world to fully access online a high-quality K-12 education and an internationally recognized diploma. I have not found much up-to-date data on the mobile eLearning market to strengthen my arguments. This experience was certainly a good preparation for entrepreneurial. I have come to realize that it requires time and thorough market analyses to build a strong market case. EduBreath has lots of potentials as it offers an innovative solution for international education. It also hits a global market that is currently booming and will even accelerate with the unfortunate advent of the COVID-19 crisis. Indeed, it is excepted to see more initiatives in online learning as an alternative to face-to-face learning in the future. My pitches certainly have room for improvement. To compete with the market, I need to work on my speech to make it more engaging. I did not have a prototype of EduBreath to showcase a demo, this will have improved the pitch. However, this is a work in progress. I am committed to continuing to work on this venture as I believe young people will benefit from EduBreath. Access to high quality and internationally recognized education is becoming expensive worldwide, online learning will provide this service at a low cost, affordable to low and middle-income families around the world. |
Reflecting on the feedback I received from the Educational Venture Analyst (EVA) who reviewed my work, I need to situate the venture in its market. Adding more information about the online learning market and the role EduBreath would play in this market will strengthen the venture pitch. I realize that explicit information on the market focus, the type of offerings, the buyers, the global target, the market status, and the competition enable the EVAs to better understand the aim of a venture. Also, a showcase on what the product does is essential in attracting investors. Presenting some features of the product would have provided a better understanding of the context and the problem that the product aims to solve.
The ideation and development of EduBreath will evolve on this website. As research continues to realize this venture, feedback and any contribution are welcome. Please use the contact tab to reach out to me. We make a better world by sharing thoughts and ideas.
